Snowpocalypse Happenings

We received about 18-24" in snow in Denver over the last two days... Now, the sun is shining, and we are happy to say we are OK. The world hasn't frozen over, the zombies didn't come, and it's actually warming up a bit. Phew!!

I went in to work yesterday for half the day (1-5) just to skip off on all of the crazy weather on the roads in the morning... It was still a bit treacherous getting to the office, but barely any cars on the road, which made me breathe easier...

Today, we had a lazy morning. Justin got a massage in the Highlands; I have been reading Nicole Krauss's The History of Love. I took Baci on a nice long walk through snow, tiny streams of icy water, and pretty clear sidewalks (Thank you, neighbors ;)

This evening I am heading to a level 2 yoga class with a friend and possibly dinner and drinks afterwards. Pretty low key, but that's my style this weekend and I like it!

Tomorrow I am teaching yoga and later on we are heading to a friend's for a Super Bowl party. I really don't care much about the Super Bowl, but hey, I am happy to go to a party!! :) Cheers.

Easy Saturday

I went to gymnastics class this morning, and Justin FINALLY got a membership to Qi just before class. :)
Picked up my new glasses!
Ate Pho and caught up with Catrina, Rokha, and Justin...
It's beginning to snow...
I'm listening to "Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasure," a posthumous release... so beautiful while cozying up on a chilly Saturday afternoon!
Pulling together idea boards for my sister-in-law's fall wedding...
Later :: Heading to Happy Hour and then a friend's for a get together this evening...

EnJOY your Saturday :)

DENVER HAS SNOW!

It has been a while. It really has. We were predicted to have snow and we are still getting it!!! We will be getting it at least into tomorrow night the weather people are saying... I am absolutely psyched! The roads weren't bad, just had to be careful. I am sure Baci was surprised by the snow when I let him out after work seeing that there hadn't been any this morning (if dogs think that way! ;)

We are headed up to Silverthorne for New Year's weekend!! We are staying at a friend's condo with a group of friends, so it should be FUN times had by all :) I will be taking my first downhill ski lessons ever (I say "downhill" because I have skied cross-country ONCE. In New York. Not sure if that even counts ?!) Happy Happy!
